Phil Taller

Phil Taller, Vice President, Investment Management, is a PortfolioManager on the Mackenzie Growth Team. Phil’s area of expertise is US mid-cap stocks.

Phil has investment experience since 1991 and joined Mackenzie Investments in July 2011. Phil began his investment career as a Research Associate. In 1995, Phil joined a leading Canadian mutual fund company as a Portfolio Manager on the Canadian equities team. He focused on bottom-up company analysis, and co-managed $10 billion in Canadian equities. Prior to joining Mackenzie Investments, Phil was a Portfolio Manager at an investment management company from 1998 to 2011.

Phil has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
