Mackenzie Information Services wins GOLD at 2017 International Facilitation Impact Awards
Mackenzie Investments Information Services team recently was honoured with a Gold Facilitation Impact Award (FIA) from the International Association of Faciliatators (IAF).
The team was recognized for their Trust Revolution initiative that encourages conversations with colleagues about trust-building habits. Through these conversations the Information Services Trust Revolution was conceived: an IS employee-driven initiative focused on trust as an action and a key approach to decision-making.
The Trust Revolution supports Mackenzie’s six core values (Honesty and Integrity, Courage, Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation, Strong Decision-Making, and Confidence and Pride) and is part of building upon the winning culture within Information Services. For Mara Svenne, Consulting Systems Analyst, it’s about ongoing trust. “We are building on Mackenzie’s winning culture by putting trust at the forefront of all of our relationships.”
The Facilitation Impact Awards are the most prestigious international awards honouring excellence in facilitation and its positive, measurable impact on organizations around the world. The award recognizes both the organization and the facilitators.
“It is gratifying to be recognized by our facilitation colleagues for this initiative that is so special to us in Mackenzie Information Services,” says Mara. “The power of facilitated conversations to unleash creative energies and put power in the hands of groups has been inspiring to us.”
The International Association of Facilitators (IAF) is a professional association with members in over 65 countries. For over 20 years they have been strong advocates for the power of facilitation in helping organizations to address challenges and achieve results.
