Investment experience since 1995
Darren joined Mackenzie in 2013. He began his investment career in 1995 and has held senior portfolio management roles throughout his career. Prior to joining Mackenzie, Darren was Vice President and Lead Portfolio Manager of a global dividend fund at a leading investment management company. He also co-managed U.S. equities at a global investment firm.
Darren earned an Honours BComm from the University of Manitoba.
Investment experience since 1996
Katherine joined Mackenzie in 2020. She began her investment career in 1996 and brings experience in equity analysis and portfolio management. Prior to joining Mackenzie, Katherine spent almost 20 years as a senior executive and portfolio manager at a global investment management firm. Earlier in her career, she was an associate portfolio manager at a global equity boutique and an equity analyst at a major Canadian bank.
Katherine earned a BSc in Mathematics and an MBA from Dalhousie University.

Dave joined Mackenzie in 2025. He began his investment career in 2007 and has experience across both the sell-side and buy-side. Prior to joining Mackenzie in 2025, Dave led a global equity team at a major Canadian bank, overseeing global and EAFE mandates. Earlier in his career, he joined Mackenzie in 2013 as a senior investment analyst covering global equities on the Global Equity & Income team and subsequently served as a portfolio manager at a Toronto-based investment counsellor.
Dave earned a BSc from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
